The Learning Architect - Livestock is an integral member of the Learning & Development (L&D) team. This position is HQ-based in Parsippany, NJ or remote serving the learning needs of one or more of our US Zoetis Livestock Business Units. (BUs) The expectation for this Learning Architect is to develop strong working business unit relationships working collaboratively with partners to support their marketing and business strategies via effective learning program development. This is done through building engaging distance and in-person learning programs for the field sales professionals. Also, the Learning Architect should develop strong working relationships with field leadership to ensure that learning programs are appropriate to business needs and are well supported through manager coaching. This position requires the development of sound instructional design for learning content as well as the direct responsibility to coordinate and facilitate workshop sessions as needed.
These initiatives could include, but are not limited to:
- Working closely with stakeholders to develop materials focused on defined learning objectives and adult learning principles.
- Evaluating and editing existing learning programs using instructional design based on needs.
- Coordination and support for program trainer sessions and rollouts as appropriate.
- Development and maintenance of related curricula based on business needs.
- Using learning technologies (e.g., MS Office, quiz and survey tools, Articulate Storyline, Qstream).
- Influence and collaboration with cross functional commercial stakeholders to partner on solutions.
- Classroom and workshop facilitation.
- Sustainment, measurement and reporting on business impact of learning programs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with L&D team, field leadership and marketing to develop instructionally sound learning programs.
- Use various technology platforms to engage learners to meet learning objectives.
- Develop engaging learning sustainment leveraging various media and gamification concepts.
- Interaction with the L&D team and BU to effectively communicate, support and execute initiatives.
- Facilitation of workshops, virtual instructor-led sessions, or other business unit meetings as needed.
- Demonstrate an understanding of L&D processes and how alignment with collaborative partners across business units contributes to meet the overall Zoetis business objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- College Degree (BS, BA, or related degree); Master’s degree preferred.
- Candidate should have minimum 5+ years’ work experience in the training/ learning environment.
- Strong instructional design experience
- Experience interacting with team members and stakeholders in problem solving and execution.
- Project/program management skills in a deadline-driven environment with flexibility for change.
- Delivery, facilitation, and presentation experience.
- Experience collaborating with a team to build solutions.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint) skills required.
- Full understanding and experience with (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.)
- Experience working with SCORM and learning management systems.
- Highly organized and exceptional detail-orientation.
- Ability to coordinate complex and interrelated projects.
- Strong sense of urgency and desire to achieve objectives.
- Above average communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $71,000 - $102,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation.
This position is also eligible for long-term incentives.
