As a Sr. Enablement Architect, you will design learning experiences to build employee capabilities. As we craft the future of learning at Workday, we are constantly aligning with our business partners to identify the capabilities needed for high performance. This role works with our portfolio managers, project leaders, and cross functional business partners to architect global enablement experiences through different learning modalities including e-learning, instructor-led training (ILT), facilitated peer learning, and creative assets.
Learning Experience Design - Design and develop both instructor-led training and on-demand e-learning across topics ranging from Core Skills (e.g., adapting to change, giving feedback) and Talent enablement (e.g., navigating annual performance conversations); advise on learning experience design strategy, recommend learning methods, and measurement strategies for new programs and courses.
Curation - Curate and create a wide variety of resources to support our learning and leadership programs including AI-enabled learning experiences, videos, quick-cards, instructor materials, gamified experiences, slide decks, off-the-shelf courses, practice scenarios, comms campaigns, simulations, and others.
Teamwork - Lead enablement projects of all sizes and drive collaboration among advisors and subject-matter guides; understanding learning objectives and needs, co-create designs, ask for and implement feedback, and iterate as needed.
Strategic Project Management - Collaborate with cross functional partners to build project plans, align timelines, facilitate project collaboration, build and deliver solutions, and assess whether enablement experiences are meeting identified objectives and key results.
About You
Basic Qualifications
5+ years directly related experience in at least one of the following fields: learning and development, instructional design, organizational enablement, training and development, leadership development, learning experience design.
Experience in learning and development experience design required.

Learning Experience Design - Apply industry knowledge and research findings of the latest in learning experience design, instructional design, and adult learning principles across both e-learning and instructor-led training (ILT); and help program owners and designers to implement these standards, focusing on creating engaging, effective, and human-centered learning journeys.
Innovation & AI-enabled learning - Experiment with new learning formats and methodologies and iterate based on feedback and success metrics – with a specific focus on AI enabled learning tools and experiences.
Strategic Collaboration - Cultivate collaborative relationships with a diverse group of partners representing different experiences, backgrounds, and organizations.
Content Development - Familiarity with key development platforms including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite required; knowledge of video design/editing, graphic design, and Articulate Rise platform preferred.
Results-Orientation - Deliver committed results in a fast-paced, high-quality environment according to project schedules
Adaptability - Shift gears comfortably as business needs evolve. Proactively seek out feedback and opportunities for improvement, and adapt your design solutions in response.
