About the Team

Workday is seeking a passionate and forward-thinking communications and enablement professional to be part of our Global Marketing Operational Design team. This role is a key part of the Strategy and Operations team within Marketing. Our team is responsible for designing and activating new ways of working that will drive Marketing’s scale, speed, and impact. We redesign processes, optimize existing frameworks, and rethink our tools to set our global Marketing organization up for future success.

About the Role

As Principal Operational Design Communications and Enablement Manager, you will focus on the communication and enablement of the new process and frameworks ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of new operational frameworks, processes, and tools across the Marketing organization. You will achieve this by developing and delivering impactful training programs, and crafting comprehensive communication plans and messages. By partnering with key stakeholders you will ensure these new processes are not just implemented but seamlessly embraced into their daily work.

  • Communicate for impact: Build and manage a communications plan to ensure all impacted stakeholders are aware, prepared, and positive about upcoming changes. This will also include drafting and tailoring messages for diverse audiences at all levels.

  • Collaborate and advise: Assess organizational readiness for new frameworks, identify potential risks, and provide proactive mitigation plans. Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to align on initiatives, acting as a trusted advisor on the human factors critical to success.

  • Develop tailored training: Develop and implement customized training programs that cater to various learning styles and business needs, ensuring effective knowledge transfer

  • Build engaging content: In partnership with subject matter experts, build a library of training and support materials, including manuals, videos, interactive content, and e-learning modules.

  • Deliver effective enablement: Conduct engaging live and virtual training sessions to guide teams through the successful use of processes, tools, and operational models in their day-today work

  • Create transparency and confidence: Produce clear, detailed, and accessible documentation for all new processes and standard methodologies, maintaining a centralized, easy-to-use knowledge base.

  • Measure and optimize: Monitor adoption and engagement metrics, gather feedback directly from employees, and use these insights to continuously refine our programs and training efforts.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience as an Enablement Lead, Training Lead, or Transformation Lead, or in equivalent roles

  • Ability to enable change initiatives in a fast-paced, global environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and engagement

  • Experience in creating and delivering training content across multiple formats and regions

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and drive plan from concept to completion

Other Qualifications

  • Familiarity with marketing operations and technology ecosystems

  • Exposure to change management methodologies or relevant training (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) is a plus

  • Experience in developing e-learning modules and using learning management systems

  • Analytical skills to measure training effectiveness and change adoption


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $158,400 USD - $237,600 USD


Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $133,800 USD - $237,600 USD
