The Commercial Analytics and Enablement Manager will serve as a critical connection point between technical and commercial organizations, driving the adoption of analytically driven sales strategies and tools. This role blends product management, business analysis, and sales enablement to accelerate commercial impact through data insights and innovation. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency, commercial skill, and training expertise, with shown success leading cross-functional initiatives in agile environments.
Drive Commercial Initiatives
- Drive customer-focused sales initiatives from inception to completion, collaborating with IT teams in scrum/agile environments.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, IT, and Corporate Account teams, ensuring new solutions are collaboratively developed and seamlessly coordinated into existing enterprise processes, avoiding siloed development.
Align initiatives with existing agile cadences, governance frameworks, and sales operations procedures to drive consistency and adoption.
- Leverage Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT (or similar) to accelerate insight synthesis and develop enablement or training content that simplifies sophisticated analytical concepts for sales teams.
- Lead sales-facing initiatives from conception through delivery, coordinating closely with Sales, IT, and Corporate Account teams within established agile/scrum cadences and governance processes.
Sales Enablement
- Deliver training on analytical tools, AI capabilities, and commercial technologies (Salesforce, data insight tools)
- Develop enablement content and processes to accelerate adoption and execution of commercial strategies.
- Measure training efficiency with dashboards and metrics, providing coaching and mentorship to sales teams.
- Align enablement initiatives with sales leadership priorities to drive growth at segments and divisions.
Business Analysis and Insights Generation
- Collect use cases and requirements to identify process improvements and tool enhancements.
- Synthesize data into insights that advise commercial decisions and account planning.
- Establish targets and metrics to track adoption, impact, and progress toward business objectives.
- Collaborate across Sales, IT, data science, marketing, and operations to deliver customer value and operational excellence.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field required; Master's/MBA preferred
- 4+ years in sales operations, product management, or commercial analytics.
- Experience employing Generative AI tools in professional settings to improve analytics, and support cross-functional communication.
- Validated ability to work as a liaison between Sales, IT, and Corporate Accounts, aligning initiatives to enterprise systems and governance processes.
- Hands-on expertise with Salesforce, Power BI, and sophisticated Excel functions such as Pivot tables and VLookup; SQL/Python/R preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial orientation, with ability to translate data into actionable insights, improved by effective use of Generative AI tools.
