About the team
The Human Resources department is responsible for all employee related activities in the most broad sense. We drive and support the business to succeed and achieve their goals. The HR Department therefore plays a vital role in the success of the organization. The Dutch HR department is multi-disciplinary and exists of HR Directors, HR Business Partners, HR Shared Service Centre and Centres of Excellence (CoE).

About your future job

Your week starts with the entire HR NL team to keep each other informed about the most important projects and share relevant information during the stand-up meeting. During the working week you will be working with various teams and colleagues in an international context.

Together with three colleagues you support and challenge the organization to identify the competences and skills needed to be successful now and in the future. Therefore you will closely cooperate with business managers, the HR team and colleagues from international Thales Learning hubs. Collaboration is one of the keys to success and you deliver your share of the learning & development action plan in close cooperation with your colleagues. Thales Group offers a wide variety of learning solutions and a learning platform that is based on Cornerstone. Besides that you can count on the support of our “managed services” partner with whom you have regular contact. You will be an important contributor to the success of Thales and the development of our Thales colleagues.

Your main tasks are to implement the strategy and realization of the learning & development plan of the assigned job families and projects by translating learning needs into practical and innovative solutions. You are a professional and pro-active sparring partner for business managers and colleagues who knows how to coach, challenge and facilitate. Your main location will be in Hengelo and you will visit the other Thales NL location as needed.

Why you'd be a good match

Next to a University degree in i.e. Psychology or Educational Science you have a minimum of 3 years work experience in an international training & development position. You possess excellent communication skills and are an inspiring and professional sparring partner. In addition, you have excellent consultancy skills, know how to assess learning needs, translate them into impactful learning interventions and successfully implement them. You love your job, want to keep abreast on the latest in L&D, are a pro-active, innovative and sensitive team player. You are fluent in Dutch and English.
