Role: Senior Consultant, Change Management & AI Enablement
Target Level: Senior Consultant
Location/Market: Calgary
What You’ll Do
- Design and lead enterprise-level change strategies that enable organizations to transition to their future state, integrating behavioural insights, AI-supported analysis, and tailored interventions aligned to each client’s culture and goals.
- Deliver AI coaching and mentor change leaders to equip individuals and teams with the mindset, skills, and confidence to adopt new ways of working and thrive in an AI-enabled environment.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and communication strategies that build alignment, strengthen sponsorship, and embed change into organizational values and ways of working.
- Develop and deliver learning experiences—including AI-enhanced training, digital learning assets, and capability building programs—that accelerate adoption and elevate workforce readiness.
- Anticipate and mitigate resistance by applying advanced change diagnostics, data-driven insights, and targeted interventions to ensure smooth adoption.
- Establish measurement frameworks to track adoption, proficiency, sentiment, and learning outcomes, using continuous feedback loops to refine and optimize the change journey.
- Provide post-implementation coaching and reinforcement, ensuring long-term sustainability through continuous learning, performance support, and AI-enabled insights.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance deliverable quality, accelerate analysis, and improve consulting efficiency and effectiveness.
- 5+ years of experience with advanced mastery in change management, with demonstrated mastery in leading complex change initiatives. Relevant recent experience with AI coaching
- Deep knowledge of agile change management methodologies, tools, and frameworks; certifications (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP) are beneficial but not required.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance change delivery, insights, and outcomes—and a strong desire to continue upskilling in this space.
- Proven success designing and executing structured AI forward change approaches for large‑scale transformations, technology implementations, or operating model shifts.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and influence stakeholders at all levels—from frontline teams to senior executives.
- A collaborative, adaptive working style and comfort navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and diverse client environments.
- Ability to quickly build industry fluency, trust, and credibility, working seamlessly with cross functional teams and senior leaders.
- Hybrid/In office: We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader or client requires you onsite that you can meet those expectations/requirements. This role can be located in Calgary or Toronto.
- Travel: This role may require travel to client sites and Slalom offices both within Canada and the United States. Candidates should be prepared for potential cross-border travel as project needs dictate.
- Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the expected base salary pay range is $110,000 - $135,000. In addition, there is potential for a 10% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
