Position Summary:
The Senior Consultant-Talent & OD will design and deliver custom development programs and solutions that link business strategies to individual and organization performance. In this role, you will evaluate business needs and leverage data-driven insights to determine organization learning and capability requirements. The successful candidate will apply human-centered design principles and knowledge of organization development models and frameworks to create programs that build associate and organization capability.
The candidate will be expected to understand Penske’s business model, cultivate internal partnerships, and collaborate across functions to design solutions that optimize performance. This role offers the opportunity to manage development initiatives at scale and requires close partnership with business leaders and human resources partners. The ideal candidate will be passionate and experienced in organization development, learning design and evaluation, adult development, and facilitation.
The candidate chosen for this role will report to Penske's site 2 campus, located at 2651 Bernville Rd, Reading, PA.
Major Responsibilities:
Design, develop, facilitate, and evaluate development programs and initiatives that link business strategies to individual and organization performance
Leverage advanced facilitation skills and techniques to meet participants where they are and provide a holistic development experience that builds human and organization capability
Conduct necessary needs assessments to determine organization learning and capability requirements
Develop relationships with key business partners and subject matter experts to conduct needs assessments, applying professional ISD & OD frameworks
Responsible for engaging and managing critical stakeholder relationships
Other projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related area of study or equivalent experience required. Master’s Degree preferred
2+ years of Adult Learning & Development experience preferred
Excellent communication and experience within a sales function required
Professional certifications and qualifications within Talent & Organization Development preferred
Subject matter expertise in instructional design & facilitation
Strong professional presence and interpersonal skills; quickly garners credibility with senior executives as well as associates at all levels of the organization
Self-directed, problem-solver who works well in ambiguous and complex organization processes and systems; must have knowledge of group dynamics
Candidate must consistently demonstrate successful performance against Penske's leadership behaviors at the level of leadership for which they seek candidacy
Sincere hunger and curiosity for continuous learning and development
Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite of products and learning technologies
Safeguards integrity and confidentiality of organizational and associate data and information to the highest standards

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
