Overview
Directs the strategy for all sales enablement that pertain to sales related and mobile technologies. Manages the strategic design and implementation of these various technologies that support growth of sales productivity and master sales data management. Assesses the relative impact of industry trends to current and future sales enablement trends. Interfaces with field sales, Sales executives, and other executives of other functional area executives to define and support initiatives and solutions for sales enablement across all sales divisions.
Responsibilities
- Leads the development of all sales enablement technology, tools, implementation, training, and support. Analyzes and predicts trends and develops long-range plan designed to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness of the sales enablement tools.
- Creates sales enablement roadmaps and program strategies aligned with overall sales and corporate strategies to provide clear direction on the technology and process initiatives required to achieve sales, marketing, and company goals.
- Represents sales regarding Information Technology requirements to ensure departmental goals and needs are met. Recommends and coordinates implementation of enhancements and modifications as needed. Coordinates communications to sales management pertaining to Sales enablement technology.
- Works with multiple project teams to ensure the data integrity, maintenance, and operation of the Sales Enablement tools and programs and its impact on the data integrity of the company CRM.
- Builds strong partnerships with Sales and other internal stakeholders to understand business challenges, manage change, and resolve problems to support sales enablement and system integration. Responsible for creating and communicating program status to relevant stakeholders.
- Acts as a key player in Sales and IT strategic planning activities to bring current knowledge and future vision of sales computing, CRM, mobile technologies, enterprise marketing, lead generation systems, and best practices.
- Manages vendor relationships, including negotiations of contracts, pricing, service levels, technology reviews, and selections of sales enablement tools and technologies, recognizing that sales enablement services expenses are a very significant expense that can affect company profitability.
- Establishes metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements to drive the performance of IT.
- Recruits, selects, hires, and evaluates performance of personnel to ensure all department goals are handled appropriately. Counsels and develops staff for personal and corporate advancement through career development, training programs, and other resources, as required, for professional advancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Sales, or other applicable field - Preferred
- Master's Degree - Preferred
- 8 years of experience in Sales Management and Sales Tools.
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the compensation range for this position is typically between $75,000 - $250,000. This range includes base pay plus commissions but does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
