Overview

Senior PEO Technology Enablement Leader to drive PEO client retention and accelerate/enhance new PEO client sales/up-sells with the implementation and refinement of strategic PEO technology solutions inclusive of Paychex and partner product offerings that impact our existing and prospect clients. Serves as the advisor to Paychex PEO Service, Implementation, Product and Sales teams providing technology solutions and recommendations, inclusive of direct client interactions from pre-sales activity to addressing At-Risk Client issues inclusive of the full client lifecycle of solutions and services.


Responsibilities

  • Directly interacts with PEO clients and prospects in conjunction with Paychex PEO functional leaders to analyze and recommend best-in-class solutions to meet client implementation and integration needs. Serves as the owner and key stakeholder of the technology solutions inventory to complement the Paychex PEO standard offerings.
  • Builds and grows a team of strong PEO Technology Solution Engineers who drive best-in-class PEO solutions for PEO clients and prospects taking a consulting/advisory approach to integrate solutions across Paychex and partner products. Leverages best practices including application programming service calls (API, REST) using published standards and advanced integration techniques.
  • Creates a set of reusable PEO technology solutions that serve specific client groupings based on industry verticals, client technology and product stack and value beyond base product offerings.
  • Develops a set of technology collaterals to be used in the PEO client implementation and solution engineering phases.
  • Keeps informed on industry trends and competitive landscape regarding best in class PEO products and services and provides path to leverage equivalent or better solutions for Paychex PEO clients/prospects.
  • Contribute to the PEO technology initiative road map that positions the PEO IT organization and product offerings to best service PEO clients including partner product integrations and client-specific HR and Financial processing/reporting needs such as General Ledger, PTO plans and Time System integrations.
  • Creates and maintains strategic relationships with leaders and key stakeholders across PEO Product, Service, Sales, Operations and Paychex Enterprise teams including IT to drive continuous improvement into the PEO organization. Establishes a position of expertise for input into company direction.
  • Acts as a key influencer of Paychex Product and Platform strategies by providing insights and analytics gathered in the front-line activities directly and of team members.
  • Recruits, develops, and manages the efforts of all direct reports toward specific organizational goals and objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the position’s function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business - Preferred
  • 4 years of experience in Supervisory/management.
  • 8 years of experience in Technology leadership roles combined with significant exposure to product, service and client-facing roles.
  • 5 years of experience in Professional Employer Organization (PEO) technology service and support including Compliance, Regulatory and Integration with PEO and HR Tech partner products.
  • Knowledge of all Paychex products, including PEO-specific product offerings including PrismHR and ClientSpace, is required. Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, required. Travel, including overnight travel, is required. Business intelligence tool knowledge a strong plus.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $127,200 - $199,900 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
