At the life sciences org, the overall responsibility of the GES L&D APAC team is to develop, curate and deliver impactful functional training solutions to support the overall learning journey of the commercial teams of the Science and Lab Solutions (SLS) business, while ensuring continuous alignment with the commercial goals and objectives to drive revenue growth.
- In partnership with the SLS Commercial Education team, you will extensively support short/medium/long term initiatives and activities required to successfully drive regional learning solutions for the SLS Commercial teams.
- This role will be dynamic and fast-paced and will require working cross-functionally with multiple commercial teams, stakeholders in an international environment and provide strategic learning solutions with key focus on design and delivery of selling skills trainings.
- As a Regional Selling Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for sales teams. This role aims to enhance the selling skills and knowledge of sales personnel, ensuring they meet performance targets and adhere to company standards.
Key Accountabilities:
Design, Develop and Deliver:
- Tailored sales and soft skills training programs for SLS Commercial teams, focusing on effective sales techniques, and customer engagement.
- End to End execution of key selling skills related programs, ensuring effective implementation and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify training needs to address specific skill gaps.
- Support the team in vendor selection, contract negotiation for need based selling skills programs.
Coaching and Mentoring:
- Conduct regular Train the Trainer for local sales trainers to enhance their skills and ensure consistent training delivery across the region by providing mentoring and coaching support.
Evaluation of training effectiveness:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through assessments and performance metrics, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
Education / Work Experience
- Masters‘/ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Human Resources, or a related field
- Certifications in Learning and Development, Organizational Development, or a related discipline is preferred
- 10-15 years work experience in training facilitation and program management, preferrably to multi cultural audience
- Certification in sales training or coaching
- Experience in digital learning and e-learning development
Job specific Competencies & Skills
- Strong background in designing and delivering training programs, preferably both sales and soft skills training
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, must be comfortable managing cohorts with varying levels of English Fluency
- Ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their best performance
- Understanding of sales processes, techniques, and customer relationship management will be an advantage
- Proficient in using virtual learning platforms
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed
