Your Role
As our Contract Testing Services (CTS) Head of Data & AI Enablement, you will drive the delivery of a robust data and digital product ecosystem that fuels advanced analytics and AI/ML initiatives across the organization. You will lead a high-performing global team, ensuring high-quality, governed data is available as a reusable asset and that digital applications are effectively managed. You will engage with diverse technical and functional teams, fostering collaboration to operationalize AI use cases for maximum value creation. Your responsibilities include building curated datasets, delivering secure Data-as-a-Service solutions, owning critical data applications, and ensuring data quality and compliance. Who you are
- A high-energy leader with management experience in Data Management, Data Engineering, Digital Products, or AI/ML Enablement, including experience at the Director level in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of building and transforming data and AI practices, delivering large-scale digital initiatives, and scaling global teams in matrixed organizations.
- Deep expertise - with hands-on experience - in data engineering and pipeline development, data governance frameworks, data quality and compliance, business intelligence and data visualization tools, digital product ownership of data analysis platform, AI/ML practices including model lifecycle management, feature stores, and reproducibility; Data, systems and software lifecycle management.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data for decision-making and connect project initiatives to overarching business goals.
- Excellent communicator, able to present complex quantitative and qualitative data effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, encouraging participation and leveraging team strengths.
Location:
The Head of Data & AI Enablement can be located from either our Burlington, MA or Rockville, MD location. We do promote a hybrid flexible work schedule, supporting 2-3 days in office.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 8 years of management experience in Data Management, Data Engineering, Digital Products, or AI/ML Enablement:
- Master’s Degree and at least 6 years of related experience
- PhD and at least 4 years of related experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements such as cGMP, GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and experience in validation and compliance practices
- Familiarity with AI/ML practices including model lifecycle management, Data, Systems
- Experience establishing effective strategic plans and business objectives for AI/ML adoption
Pay Range for this position: $146,200 – $219,300
Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data.
