As a Director Business Strategy – Security Sales Enablement on the corporate team, you’ll be a critical and visible leader internally and externally and will have the opportunity to influence and work with many of the most senior leaders in the business.
We’re looking for a leader and cross-team collaborator to partner with stakeholders to build and execute security readiness & enablement to drive revenue growth for the Security Solution Area. This role is primarily focused on the objective of meeting and exceeding the global sales readiness strategy and execution. This entails developing enterprise and scale sales readiness and community development that are tied with go-to-market initiatives.
As the Director Business Strategy – Security Sales Enablement, you will enable our sales field to achieve our collective growth aspirations by building sales competencies and communities across our Security Sales and Global black belt organization. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders including senior leaders in the Product Group, Commercial Solution Area (CSA), Worldwide Learning, Customer Success, Marketing as well as Small, Medium, Enterprise & Corporate (SME&C) business units to shape & execute Security Sales Readiness.
The Director Business Strategy – Security Sales Enablement will ensure we define sales learning paths, readiness activities, events, etc. that maximize short, medium, and long-term business impact. This is person will build approaches that harness the feedback, knowledge, and power of our sales communities to deliver effective sales readiness that empower Security Solution area specialist & global black belt team to deliver even more value to our customers. This leader will be an advocate for the field and will be counted on to represent the voice of the field and customers across our corporate functions.

Responsibilities
Primary accountabilities include:
Sales Readiness & Community Development: Leverage business, industry, and technical knowledge to create a high value sales learning path, readiness, and communities for the sales organization.
Control and Monitor Results: Ensure right KPIs are in place to achieve the right outcomes for our customers and to measure business impact. Analyze readiness outcome and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement to drive sustainable revenue and consumption growth.
Closed Feedback Loop: Facilitation and delivery of closed feedback loop with key executive sponsors and cross-organizational partners including Engineering, Product Marketing, WW STU/Customer Success, Worldwide Learning, etc.
Field Connection & Immersion: Establish field relationships and ongoing engagement to formalize connection channels, listening systems, escalation management, and field council.
Accelerate the landing of the Security Sales Motions of various readiness channels: Partner across organizations to ensure a successful rollout of sales readiness across all sales motions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (2 years out), Management Consulting, Sales, or Finance.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in sales /go-to-market (GTM)/readiness roles OR product management; Cyber Security experience is a plus
- Experience building forward-looking performance indicators that help anticipate issues.
- Experience in executive communication strategies and enablement plans.Experience working in a large, global, matrixed organization (working in emerging/developed countries is a plus).
- Demonstrated experience utilizing and experimenting with AI and automation tools to improve productivity, speed, or efficiency within sales enablement, GTM, or adjacent business functions.
- Experience working as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) OR Chief Security Officer (CSO)OR working closely with CISOs or CSOs.
Sales Strategy Enablement IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
