The Global Partner Go-To-Market, Programs, & Operations (GPO) organization within GCPS brings together the go-to-market strategy, programs, and platforms to accelerate growth and improve partner experience across all partner segments.

The Channel Programs team is looking for a Senior Business Program Manager-Channel Authorization Enablement to own and operationalize execution of the Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) authorization eligibility requirements to grow the impact of this channel. This role works in partnership with program compliance, business operations, Customer Service & Support (CSS), and engineering teams to determine the optimal onboarding and offboarding experience in support of the CSP authorization strategy, to be executed in accordance with program policies. This role will also ensure the CSP authorization’s partner and field readiness resources are well articulated and provide clarity to partners and field roles on authorization enforcement operational expectations, in alignment with program strategy.

This role is vital to ensure we have a program that has a friction free onboarding and offboarding process to support our goal of having a compliant ecosystem of channel partners. This individual will also be responsible for driving the business insights to achieve strong partner satisfaction and implement program improvements as needed.

As this role will work alongside many stakeholders, it will require a balance of leadership and influence skills to support the broader strategic and operational needs of the team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in a partner-facing role, optimally dealing with a variety of audiences and partners with different business models (Distribution, Solution Sales Professionals (SSPs), System Integrators (SIs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and an understanding of the cloud partner ecosystem.
  • 3+ years with a proven track record of managing successful channel partner programs, including the ability to develop solutions and oversee successful execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to organize, plan, and analyze complex information, with aptitude for interpreting key business performance indicators
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively across teams and organizational levels, paired with analytical and organizational skills. Proactive and self-directed in driving initiatives forward, with a talent for navigating ambiguity and creating clarity for others
  • Proficient problem-solving skills, attention to detail, an ability to work effectively under pressure and within short time constraints, resourcefulness and able to deal with ambiguity, prioritize while multi-tasking and maintain flexibility in the performance of the job responsibilities. Embracing change is essential.
  • Ensures organizational readiness for business demands and meets challenging timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Executive Relations: The ability to interact confidently with senior leaders in a highly-matrixed organization to present/defend/clarify concerns or issues regarding an existing project, program, or solution. This includes the ability to confidently address difficult questions, handle pushback from a high-level audience, and maintain an executive demeanour while engaging in challenging or sometimes high-pressure situations

Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Own program operations execution excellence in partnership with business operations, CSS, and engineering teams to ensure optimal execution to deliver friction free onboarding and offboarding experience to participating partners.
  • Close partnership with Business Planning, Compliance and Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) teams to ensure adherence and enforcement of program policies.
  • Own strategies to support partner and field execution at scale, with readiness content, to continuously improve partners’ understanding of authorization eligibility requirements.
  • Develop required program analytics to gain insights to understand and track partner compliance to authorization requirements. Gather feedback from partners and best practices to address challenges and remove blockers.
