As the Worldwide Learning Business Manager - Field, you will be responsible for managing programs and providing critical support to the WWL Field team as they land skilling for employees and customers. You will work with stakeholders within the WWL organization, segment teams and the field to ensure we have a thoughtful Go-To-Market strategy leveraging business requirements, data and feedback. The Worldwide Learning Business Manager-Field will make recommendations on how to accelerate our performance through additional support programs or strategies.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 6+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience designing budgets, developing forecasting plans, overseeing the development of metrics for budgeting and forecasting, and working with Procurement team for future resources.
- 4+ years of experience in driving strategy initiatives, collaborating with partners, and driving business review cadence to help facilitate a rhythm of business (ROB).
- 2+ years of experience in driving cross-team projects, leading project/program management, and leading strategic innovation and experimentation.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 12+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience ensuring adherence to privacy and compliance, and strategizing business continuity plans.
- 4+ years of experience in leading strategy execution in partnership with leadership, setting most effective practices for long-term company strategy, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with strategy.
- 4+ years of experience in overseeing corporate governance and performance management.
Business Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities
The Worldwide Learning Business Manager-Field are responsible for the following:
- Engage with members of the WWL Field team and other stakeholders to identify gaps in our Go-To-Market (GTM) landing strategies across employee and customer skilling initiatives.
- Partner with field leadership to execute business plans and ensure seamless continuity of operations
- Lead strategy execution across internal stakeholders and teams in close collaboration with the Global Learning Leader and field leadership team
- Apply deep understanding of organizational strategy and future deliverables to drive successful execution across multiple workstreams, in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Centrally oversee the leader’s org-wide communications, drafting comms as needed and reviewing/editing comms from others
- Maintain healthy organizational signals and champion culture initiatives that align with Microsoft’s People strategy, connecting leaders and teams to Microsoft’s Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) resources and guidance
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to address evolving business needs and manage complex operational challenges
- Coordinate annual and H1/H2 budget forecasting, interface with WWL Supplier Operations (Ops) to initiate Purchase Orders (Pos), track on-going requests, and facilitate change orders
- Monitor evolving budget management guidelines and provide regular updates to supported program and (Pos) owners
- Business Operations: Architecting and executing the rhythm of business, driving strategy initiatives, collaborating with partners, and driving business review cadence. Ensuring adherence to privacy and compliance, and strategizing business continuity plans.
- Strategy Execution: Leading strategy execution in partnership with leadership, setting most effective practices for long-term company strategy, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with strategy.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Designing budgets, developing forecasting plans, overseeing the development of metrics for budgeting and forecasting, and working with Procurement team for future resources.
- Maximizing/Extending the Leader: Leading on multiple workstreams, building relationships with executive leadership, and acting as a proxy for the leader.
- Organizational Health: Driving team culture and health, capitalizing on team strengths, strategizing trainings, and ensuring a healthy compliance scorecard for the organization.
- Special Projects/Programs and Initiatives: Driving cross-team projects, leading project/program management, and leading strategic innovation and experimentation.
- Specialty Responsibilities: Leading executive-level communication, optimizing the manager's time, and developing presentations and messaging related to the team's mission and key projects.
- Accountability and Performance Management: Reviewing performance, commitments, execution, and overseeing corporate governance and performance management.
