Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from a LinkedIn office on select days and from home, as determined by the business needs of the team.

This role can be based in San Francisco, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, New York, or Chicago.

The Global Go-To-Market Enablement (GTME) team drives productivity across LinkedIn’s Global Business Organization (GBO) by equipping member and customer-facing teams with the knowledge, skills, technology, and resources to excel in their current roles and prepare for future ones. GTME builds scalable enablement across products, enhances process efficiency, elevates skills, and drives technology adoption.

The Director, x-MCS Programs Enablement is a strategic leader within the Member & Customer Success (MCS) organization and a key member of the MCS Enablement (MCSE) leadership team. This role is responsible for architecting and executing high-impact, cross-functional programs that drive readiness, elevate capabilities, and enable the delivery of LinkedIn’s customer experience vision.

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Build and communicate a compelling x-MCS enablement vision & strategy aligned with MCS and GTME priorities.
  • Represent x-MCS programs in executive forums, shaping the Rhythm of Business (RoB) and influencing strategic direction.
  • Lead change management strategy and sponsor the Change Agent Network to drive adoption and readiness at scale.


Business

  • Own the x-MCS program portfolio, ensuring prioritization, health tracking, and alignment to business outcomes.
  • Define KPIs and success metrics, leveraging data to inform decisions and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Influence budget and resourcing decisions to maximize impact across initiatives.
  • Scale successful programs and eliminate duplication across MCS Enablement.


Team

  • Lead a high-performing team focused on onboarding, skill development, and technology enablement for Global Support, Product Operations, Customer Success & Services, Scaled Solutions, and vendor teams.
  • Mentor emerging leaders and shape the long-term structure and capabilities of the x-MCS Enablement team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and resilience.


Craft

  • Model mastery of Enablement by applying deep expertise in program design, technology adoption, and operational rigor.
  • Develop and execute onboarding, skill development, and technology training programs.
  • Act as the executive face of x-MCS programs, owning relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with GTME, GTM Ops, PMM, R&D, and Productivity Engineering to deliver scalable, high-quality learning experiences.
  • Explore and implement new technology use cases (e.g., AI, Qualtrics, Gong, Hyperbound, Dynamics 365, Gainsight, Power BI) to drive productivity.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions that enhance team productivity.
  • Serve as an internal and external thought leader in Enablement.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years with customer experience strategy, sales, program management, consulting, or learning & development.
  • 3+ years managing teams and people leaders.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to drive business-aligned strategies and operational plans.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and data-driven problem-solving.
  • Experience building high-performing, diverse teams.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and performance excellence.
  • Expertise in change management (Prosci certification preferred).
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enablement technologies and organizational effectiveness consulting.
  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $165,000 to $266,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
