The GSE Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across the Global Solutions Enablement organization. This position serves as the operational backbone for the team—managing order and revenue processes & reporting, pricing, ITAR, Secure Software Guidelines, Tool Decisions & Adaption (TaskRay, AI Proposal, …) and project execution to ensure the GSE sales team can operate efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, data-driven problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys influencing business outcomes.


Responsibilities

Strategic Influence & Leadership

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with strategic goals including sales operations, finance, sales teams, solution engineering and IT.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to take action without direct management authority.
  • Contribute to special projects such as the Solution Quote Margin workbook and other high-impact initiatives supporting sales productivity.
  • Partner cross-functionally with KGSO, IT, and KGS Operations to ensure new quoting, booking, and tracking solutions meet GSD needs, improve efficiency, and maintain business continuity.

Operational Reporting & Analysis

  • Own and manage all GSE order & revenue reporting, including Business Funnel Table, (BFT), monthly order and revenue reporting in order to provide visibility and insights to leadership and regional teams.
  • Build consistent worldwide order and revenue processes that allows closed loop order and revenue forecasting to plan.
  • Run ad hoc reports and analyze data for business trends, sales performance, and operational improvements.
  • Partner with KGS and KGSO Controllers and senior leadership to ensure data accuracy and alignment with global metrics.

Improve Operational Efficiency

  • Lead and support cross-functional projects to improve GSE sales efficiency and operational processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for GSE TaskRay project management, including system enhancements, template updates, adoption, and user support.
  • Own guidelines for secure software development, working with selected software leaders in all regions to establish secure software development processes.
  • Own and implement AI for smart search, technical proposal and SOW generation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and developing better ways of working across tools, workflows, and reporting. Drive retrospective process and VOC, customer surveys.

Sales Enablement & Support

  • Support Regional Delivery Managers (RDMs) and regional SEO and sales teams with data, tools, and process insights including AM SE services attache rate, % of quota.
  • Manage pricing and part number creation to support complex solution offerings.
  • Oversee ITAR compliance for the team as the designated ITAR lead.
  • Reset licenses and warranties for deliveries scheduled for more than 3+ months out to ensure readiness for customer delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work independently and self-manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven track record driving programs to improve business operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, and business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Skilled in influencing and collaborating across organizational levels and regions.
  • Comfortable operating amid ambiguity and shifting priorities; able to pivot quickly while maintaining focus on outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executives, technical teams, and peers.
  • Experience in ITAR compliance, pricing, or part number management preferred.
  • Familiarity with TaskRay or Salesforce project management tools a plus.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

Bay Area, California Pay Range: MIN $215,180.00-MID $286,900.00- MAX $358,630.00

California (Except Bay Area) Pay Range: MIN $196,740.00 MID $262,310.00 MAX $327,890.00

Colorado and Maryland Pay Range: MIN $182,680.00 MID $243,570.00 - MAX $304,470.00

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
