We have an exciting and challenging role as a Commercial Strategy and Enablement Lead for the Johnson and Johnson MedTech Surgery team.
High-impact, cross-functional role supporting the UKI General Manager of Surgery and Surgery Leadership Team while leading early launch activities for OTTAVA, our soft-tissue surgical robot. Combines strategy, program delivery, and stakeholder engagement to drive performance, profitability, and commercial strategies.
· Support to the General Manager and Leadership Team: Manage governance structures, priorities, prepare briefings and presentations, coordinate follow-up actions, and ensure leadership decisions are executed.
· Strategic Support: Translate regional/global strategy into measurable plans, facilitate and run financial planning cycles and performance reviews (e.g. Commercial Operations), and deliver business cases and scenario analysis.
· OTTAVA early launch lead: Plan and coordinate pre-launch activities, site selection, KOL engagement, clinical evaluation, training strategy, and feedback loops to inform product and commercial materials.
· Cross-functional program management: Create project plans, manage timelines, owners and risks, maintain governance and clear reporting.
· Stakeholder engagement: Build relationships with NHS and private hospitals, clinicians, KOLs, partners, and internal teams to secure alignment and adoption.
Qualifications & Experience
Typically 7–10+ years of progressive experience in roles such as frontline sales, commercial excellence, strategic roles, PMO or business operations.
Strong project management and execution capability in complex, matrixed environments.
Demonstrated ability to synthesise complex, imperfect data into clear insights and implications.
Experience working closely with senior leaders and leadership teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to produce clear, concise executive‑level outputs.
Demonstrate inspirational leadership to energise and engage hearts and minds.
Ability to handle ambiguity and have ‘start up’ mentality.
Experience of navigating complexity specifically across political, environmental, social, technological, Economic and Legal factors.
High learning agility, intellectual curiosity and comfort operating in ambiguity.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally across EMEA 30%
