The Sr. Specialist, Learning Experience Designer (LXD) is an individual contributor role within the LXSS Learning Experience Design career path. LXDs are responsible for designing learner-centric, engaging, and scalable learning experiences in collaboration with cross-functional partners. This role supports the development of high-quality learning assets aligned to organizational goals. LXDs will manage their projects and are expected to contribute to all phases of the design lifecycle. They will partner with other specialists in media, development, and programming within agile squads to bring learning solutions to life.
Core Responsibilities
Learning Experience Design
- Design and develop engaging learning assets including eLearning, microlearning, job aids, influencer videos, and other digital content.
- Apply instructional design principles and learner-centered methodologies to translate business needs into learning experiences.
- Ensure content meets standards for accessibility, inclusion, and branding.
- Contribute to the use of innovative tools and platforms, including AI and digital solutions, for enhanced learning design.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with business stakeholders, SMEs, and internal teams to gather requirements and co-design learning solutions.
- Participate in design sessions, feedback cycles, and team ceremonies to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to deliver aligned and timely deliverables.
Project Support & Documentation
- Maintain accurate design documentation including storyboards, scripts, and timelines.
- Report weekly on status and project manage design & development cycle.
- Support the QA process by reviewing and testing learning assets prior to deployment.
- Participate in agile ways of working including scrums, retrospectives, and iterative sprints.
Learning Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement
- Apply feedback and learner data to iterate and improve learning experiences.
- Support measurement of learning outcomes in collaboration with the Learning Service Excellence team.
- Contribute to insights and recommendations that support LXSS team performance and learner impact.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, Education, or a related field strongly preferred.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in instructional design, learning experience design, education, or a related field (e.g., teaching, training).
- Familiarity with instructional design models, design thinking, and learner-centered practices.
- Exposure to digital learning tools (e.g., authoring platforms, AI translation tools, video, AI design & development tools) and platforms (e.g. LMS/LXP/LCMS) is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working with creative teams and digital ecosystems to bring ideas to life.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a high-performing team.
As part of our Company’s growth and expansion plans, we are preparing to relocate to a new office in BGC, Taguig City, tentatively by Q2 2026. Please note that the timeline may still change depending on project developments and other considerations.
