Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for a Sr. Manager, Learning Experience Strategist located in Bogota, Colombia on a hybrid basis.

The Learning Experience Strategist (LXS) leads a cross-functional team of LXDs (Sr. Specialist, Lead, and/or Manager roles) to deliver innovative, effective, and business-aligned learning experiences. Serving as the primary point of contact for senior business leaders, Practice Area leaders and Program Owners in the Learn and GTM organization, the LXS ensures learning strategies are aligned to performance needs and business goals, drives continuous improvement through data and insights, and supports the enterprise vision for 2030. This people leadership role combines instructional design expertise, strategic consultation, team capacity management, and stakeholder partnership to orchestrate end-to-end learning solutions.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Partnership

· Serve as the primary learning strategy partner to assigned business leaders (Learn and GTM), acting as the first point of contact for learning needs, consultation, and performance-focused solutions.

· Collaborate with leaders to align learning strategies with business goals, workforce trends, and enterprise priorities.

· Guide strategic conversations on learning needs, budget, complexity, scalability, modality recommendations, and timelines.

Team Leadership & Capacity Management

· Manage and develop a team of Sr. Specialist LXDs, Lead LXDs, and LXAs, supporting their professional growth and development.

· Allocate team resources based on demand planning and capacity forecasts; adjust team assignments to meet changing priorities and complexity levels.

· Mentor team members on design strategy, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise expectations for quality, innovation, and learner impact.

Data-Driven Insights & Continuous Improvement

· Proactively review learning dashboards and metrics in collaboration with the Learning Service Excellence Manager to identify areas for improvement, gaps, and impact stories.

· Lead the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives that elevate learning effectiveness and efficiency.

· Track and report on team accomplishments, learner outcomes, and business value created through learning experiences.

Collaboration Across LXSS & Enterprise Teams

· Partner with LXSS leaders (e.g., Learning Development & QA, AI & Digital Tools, Learning Service Excellence) to ensure seamless integration of tools, platforms, and best practices across learning experiences.

· Engage with external vendors, contractors, or freelance designers as needed, ensuring quality standards and strategic alignment are met.

Special Initiatives & Innovation

· Lead or sponsor strategic initiatives aligned to the LXSS 2030 Vision, including cross-functional pilots, tool innovation, framework development, or enterprise upskilling efforts.

· Champion modern learning practices and enterprise tools to support the future of learning.

Additional LXSS Enablement Expectations

  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the Head of LXSS.

  • Maintain active awareness of LXSS learning asset types, production needs, and design standards.

  • Contribute to the digital maturity and operational excellence of the LXSS organization.

  • Support internal efforts to build community, celebrate accomplishments, and drive an inclusive and collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Education, Organizational Development, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

· 8+ years of experience in instructional design, learning strategy, or corporate learning roles.

· 2+ years of experience managing instructional design or learning experience teams.

· Demonstrated success building relationships with senior leaders and aligning learning to business goals.

· Strong knowledge of modern learning modalities, design thinking, and data-informed learning strategy.

· Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

· Familiarity with digital learning platforms (LMS, LXP, LCMS), data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and generative AI for learning innovation, preferred.

· Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies within learning or content development environments, preferred.

· Demonstrated leadership in change enablement, capability building, or enterprise learning transformation efforts, preferred.

· Willingness to travel domestically/internationally up to 10–15%.
