Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Manager Time and Attendance Center of Enablement, to join our Global Payroll Organization, supporting the payroll capability center. This position can be located in New Brunswick, NJ; Tampa, FL; Bogota, Colombia; or Manila, Philippines. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.

This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and accurate management of time and attendance processes and vendor applications across the organization, adopting AI and API technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and end-user processes. As part of a team with varied strengths, the role will partner closely with Product, Operations, and Capability Center leads and accountable for driving efficiency, compliance, and strategic value to align with strategic goals through automation tools, process improvements, cash flow opportunities, enhanced user experience, and employee satisfaction. The candidate will have a strong background in time and attendance solutions, exceptional leadership abilities, and a passion for driving distinction in workforce management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy: Drive innovation for the long-term vision of the Capability Center, evolving into a strategic, technology-driven hub that enhances workforce management and organizational agility. Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational time and attendance processes, continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and implementing policy changes. Leverage data to identify trends, variances, or compliance risks proactively. Support strategic decision-making at leadership levels with real-time dashboards and insights.
  • Team Management: Mentor a team of time and attendance specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve operational goals and service standards. Invest and deliver hands-on technical guidance and specialized training to support problem-solving and high-quality solution development. Promotes a fair, open environment, boosts morale and trust.
  • Process Improvement: Find opportunities for process and system enhancements and implement procedures to improve accuracy, efficiency, and operational effectiveness. Implement strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new tools or policies.
  • System Management: Support business requirements and testing strategy for system enhancements, upgrades/ system changes across the payroll organization for timekeeping.
  • Collaboration: Connect with payroll business partners across the globe through monthly roundtables. Work closely with HR, payroll, and IT to ensure flawless integration of processes. Promote cross-functional collaboration and clear communication with both technical and non-technical partners. Lead a quarterly forum of timekeepers and time administrators to support continued learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes and updates, and through regular review attendance data for discrepancies or irregularities. Implement a knowledge base and training program for the capability team to ensure their understanding of laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports using transactional data, providing insights to support decision-making. Use metrics to transform the Capability Center to actively contribute to organizational efficiency, employee satisfaction, and compliance through data-driven insights, including but not limited to hours worked compared to work schedule, pay rules aligned to company policies, compliance with labor laws, and opportunities to standardize and harmonize non-union sites to company policy through programmatic changes. Provides actionable insights through data analysis on attendance patterns, overtime, absenteeism, and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (required) in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years demonstrated ability with market-leading T&A solutions (Kronos/eTime/ADP, SAP, Workday) and at least 5 years in a people leader role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in time and attendance software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in HR and payroll systems.
  • Leadership: Consistent record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of labor laws and regulations related to time and attendance.
  • Bilingual is preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$120,000-$207,000

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
