Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Manager, Compliance Data Enablement, Global Operations. This position can be located at any US J&J location with a preference for Westchester, PA Titusville or New Brunswick, NJ.

Purpose

The Manager, Compliance Data Enablement is a core member of the Compliance Data Management, Analytics and Reporting (CDMAR) team reporting to the Senior Manager, Compliance Data Enablement, HCC Global Operations. The Manager Compliance Data Enablement partners with the CDMAR leadership team to develop the strategy and drive execution of the CDMAR portfolio including system development, configuration, deployment, support and governance, and access. The Manager Compliance Data Enablement supports all HCC Operations functions (Global Transparency Reporting, Global Assessment and Consulting Services etc.) and the HCC teams across all sectors (Med Tech and Innovative Medicine) and all functions (Supply Chain, R&D etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Assist and partner with various levels of the HCC organization to develop and implement a multifaceted, risk-based data and systems management strategy to ensure maximum efficiency of data capabilities to enable the HCC functions to assess, mitigate and manage risk across all HCC and relevant Enterprise systems.
  • Ensure that team is aligned to overall vision, key priorities and results. Enable a team culture of innovation, accountability, development and constant learning. Partner across regions and functions to share best practices, train others and drive efficiency and teamwork.
  • Solid grasp of the work of the CDMAR team globally and across segments; grounding in R&R of the HCCOs, develop business acumen.
  • Develop and execute project plans and key deliverables.
  • Demonstrate Operational Excellence mentality with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
  • Craft the internal and external environment by leading or participating on other assigned special project teams or industry working groups related to testing and monitoring.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a data management, data engineering or data leadership role is required
  • Experience working in a multi-functional and/or cross-sector regional team is required
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and implement process improvements for regional, cross sector initiatives is required
  • Ability to partner with leadership teams to influence, negotiate and connect with senior leaders is required
  • Demonstrated quantitative analytical skills is required
  • A track record of successful innovation to streamline processes and business operations, including process design and implementation
  • Executive interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to manage high levels of complexity using independent judgment and latitude to make critical decision
  • Excellent English oral and written skills required; Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
  • This position will require up to 10% travel.

Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities

  • In-depth experience with modern databases and information technologies:
  • Data platforms (ex. DataBricks, Cloudera, MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL etc.)
  • ETL / Blending Tools (ex. Informatica, Talend, Alteryx, MuleSoft, Python)
  • SQL (Extensive Experience)
  • Knowledge or experience in the following technologies:
  • Data virtualization (Denodo)
  • Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, Lambda)
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with information management systems and applications for data engineering, mining & analysis preferred
  • Project Management certification preferred
  • Process excellence training and certification preferred
  • Data Modeling experience and understanding of Ontologies and Taxonomies preferred
  • Experience with GraphDB (Neo4j) and/or GraphDB concepts preferred
