Purpose: As the Manager of Learning Data Operations & Insights, you will be the driving force behind the seamless management of data access, workflows, and analytics that support our learning initiatives. Collaborating across teams as a trusted partner, you’ll focus on standardizing data practices, improving data quality, and developing dashboards and metrics that tell the story of our growth. Your expertise will help collaborators build confidence in data, supporting them in making informed decisions. With a passion for exploring new data sources and methods, you’ll continually push the boundaries of how we measure and improve learning impact, empowering our organization to learn faster, better, and smarter.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Access, Infrastructure, and Operations:
- Lead operational projects to improve data access and workflows.
- Collaborate with business partners to standardize and centralize data to improve data quality and accessibility.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications to facilitate data access and the development of dashboards, ensuring solutions meet business needs and are successfully implemented by IT and data teams.
- Lead survey administration and operations, ensuring efficient processes and alignment with organizational goals to enhance data quality and value.
Data Synthesis, Analysis, and Insights:
- Support creation, reporting, and analysis of key operational and organizational health metrics to reinforce the impact and value of our organization with leadership and identify opportunity areas.
- Structure and execute targeted analyses for specific learning initiatives to demonstrate effectiveness, uncover insights, and identify areas of opportunity for continuous improvement.
Business Partner Consultation and Support:
- Support initiatives to accelerate data literacy across business partners, encouraging a collaborative environment where data understanding and effective use are building blocks for strategic decision-making.
- Provide consultation and support to business partners on development and execution of measurement strategies and metrics for individual programs, helping to evaluate impact and identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist teams with adoption of new processes, tools, or initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and user engagement.
Innovation:
- Research, explore, and support operationalization of new data sources, tools, or methods to enhance measurement of learning success.
- Lead or support new projects or initiatives as they arise, providing flexible leadership and operational expertise to drive priorities forward.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s Degree or equivalent is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- 5+ years of experience supporting data operations, analytics, or measurement.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and dashboards.
- Experience designing and executing performance metrics or scorecards
- Significant experience in project management and leading operational projects, with the ability to prioritize and adapt as new initiatives emerge.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Ability to synthesize data from various sources, structure analyses, interpret data, and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated capability to assess processes and workflows, identify opportunities, and implement enhancements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in L&D Measurement.
- Experience with survey tools and standardizing data collection and reporting processes.
- Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and working with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with SQL for data querying.
Other:
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
- Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
