Purpose:

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic leader to assume the role of Associate Director, Patient Data Solutions & Enablement. This role will partner with various teams across the organization, including data strategy & innovation, insights & analytics, advanced analytics, technology, and business product teams, to strategize, plan, develop, and deploy all aspects of Data & Insights products and platforms, focusing on patient data and insights products.

This individual will help lead and manage the expectations across the organization along with the communications regarding the status of respective workstreams and activities. They will collaborate with data vendors and agencies on the insight generation, data operations, contracting, etc. and ensure value for data-related investments. Functioning as a subject matter authority, they will support ad hoc, data-centric business questions, and will partner with IT and business partners within the StAT (Strategy, Analytics and Transformation) team to proactively resolve data issues and support strategic data initiatives.

You will be responsible for:

Data Solutioning and Management

  • Develop and manage patient data products to facilitate easy access and use by business teams.

  • Create and optimize self-service tools, dashboards, and reports that enable efficient patient data consumption.

  • Manage key indicators and metrics, ensuring comprehensive tracking aligned with business strategies at various data maturity levels (raw, integrated, semantic).

Data Analysis and Performance Insights

  • Conduct analysis of operational insights to monitor QA/QC metrics such as completeness, SLAs, and control totals.

  • Analyze transactional data to identify trends, track anomalies, and deliver actionable business insights.

  • Collaborate with business teams to interpret performance metrics and ensure analysis aligns with operational needs.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the main point of contact for inquiries related to patient data solutions.

  • Gather requirements from partners and ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and project outputs.

  • Facilitate consensus-building among teams to effectively address bottlenecks throughout project phases.

Technology and Innovation

  • Use advanced data management technologies to develop scalable and secure solutions for managing business data.

  • Stay informed about industry innovations and emerging technologies to enhance product offerings and capabilities.

Compliance and Security

  • Ensure that all data solutions meet regulatory standards for security and privacy, including HIPAA and CCPA compliance.

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate any regulatory challenges related to patient data management.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analytics, data management, and insights, preferably within healthcare or technology.

  • Experience in the life sciences industry, specifically in roles involving business insights and analytics, data management & operations, and patient data

  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, etc.).

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in data management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).

  • Expertise in data lifecycle management and the ability to ensure data quality and accessibility.

Leadership and Communication

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving projects to completion.

  • Excellent communication abilities to convey complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Analytical Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Ability to identify challenges, propose effective solutions, and implement changes seamlessly.

Customer Focus

  • Deep understanding of user needs, coupled with the ability to gather and incorporate customer feedback into product improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in business analytics or product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) are a plus.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000 USD..

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
