Principal Product Marketing Manager, Accountant GTM

Category Marketing Location Mountain View, California; San Francisco, California Job ID 24099

Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With tens of millions of customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

As part of the U.S. Marketing organization, the Mid-Market Marketing team is seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager to build and own accountant go-to-market for our mid-market portfolio, spanning QuickBooks Advanced and Intuit Enterprise Suite. Accounting and advisory firms are one of the most influential forces in how mid-market businesses find, evaluate, and adopt financial management software — and this role exists to make that firm relationship a growth engine.

This is a 0-1 build. You will define how we earn firm trust, equip firms to recommend and pitch our mid-market products, and build the feedback loop that keeps our roadmap and positioning grounded in what firms actually need from their clients' software. You'll need to be equally obsessive about the firm audience — how they work, what they're accountable for, what makes them recommend one platform over another — and about the mid-market product set they're being asked to champion.

The ideal candidate has built accountant or firm-facing programs before and can point to real firms who trust them. Deep credibility with the accounting/advisory community, paired with fluency in mid-market software, is what makes this role work.

Responsibilities

Firm Enablement & Pitch Motion

  • Build the accountant enablement motion for mid-market: what firms need to know, say, and show to confidently recommend and pitch QuickBooks Advanced and Intuit Enterprise Suite to their clients.

  • Develop the pitch assets, positioning, and talk tracks firms use with their own clients, built around how firms actually sell and advise.

  • Identify and build relationships with the firms and firm segments that matter most to mid-market NTTF and win-back motion, particularly against legacy ERP competitors.

Firm Feedback Loop

  • Establish an ongoing feedback loop with accounting and advisory firms that surfaces what's blocking client adoption, where positioning misses, and what firms need from the roadmap.

  • Bring firm insight directly into product and messaging decisions, so the mid-market portfolio reflects what firms are hearing from clients in real time.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success to connect firm advocacy to pipeline and win-back outcomes.

  • Partner with the broader Mid-Market Marketing team to keep firm-facing messaging aligned with core product narratives and competitive positioning.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product marketing, partner marketing, or go-to-market experience in B2B SaaS, with direct experience working with or for accounting/advisory firms.
  • Demonstrated success building firm- or partner-facing programs — enablement content, pitch motions, or advocacy programs.
  • Credibility with the accounting/ advisory community: real understanding of how firms operate, are compensated, and make software recommendations to clients.
  • Proven ability to build and run a structured feedback loop that turns firm and partner input into product and marketing decisions.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to build pitch content that works in a firm's voice, not just Intuit's.
  • Strong operator instincts — comfortable building process and structure in an undefined space.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing to or working within the mid-market business segment.
  • Experience with ERP, accounting, or financial management software.
  • Familiarity with competitive win-back motions
