Sales Enablement Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Enablement Specialist to help drive the success of our sales teams through effective data analysis, territory management, pipeline management, and the optimization of sales processes and tools. In this role, you'll work closely with Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) and District Sales Managers (DSMs) and other cross channel key stakeholders to streamline territory management efficiency and effectiveness and ensure resources, tools, and strategies are aligned with company goals. You’ll also be responsible for creating and maintaining key sales enablement resources and helping improve the productivity of the sales team by leveraging sales tools. Experience with Salesforce and Power BI is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Territory Management & Sales Data Alignment:

  • Collaborate with TSMs & DSMs to optimize territory management strategies, ensuring territories are aligned with market potential and business objectives.
  • Analyze and manage territory data to ensure accurate sales forecasting, proper sales coverage, and alignment of resources to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Support and refine territory cycles, helping ensure efficient lead generation, follow-ups, and sales engagements within each territory.
  • Monitor territory performance and make recommendations for adjustments or reassignments to ensure optimal coverage and revenue growth.

Sales Enablement Resources:

  • Create, manage, and update essential sales enablement resources such as playbooks, competitive intelligence reports, product collateral, presentations, case studies, and sales scripts to empower sales teams to close deals faster and more effectively.
  • Ensure resources are aligned with current product offerings, sales strategies, and market trends to maximize their impact.
  • Develop customizable templates and tools that enable sales reps to personalize their approach for different customers within their respective territories.

Sales Tools & Technology Optimization:

  • Implement and optimize sales tools, including CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), content management platforms and sales analytics tools to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity.
  • Train and support sales teams and sales leaders on the effective use of sales tools, processes ensuring smooth adoption and integration into their day-to-day operations.
  • Work closely with Sales Enablement and Business Intelligence teams to ensure that sales tools and sales processes enable accurate reporting, data flow, and performance tracking.

Pipeline & Strategic Territory Planning and Management

  • Collaborate with leadership to create detailed pipeline management strategies within territories, ensuring leads, opportunities, and accounts are properly tracked and assigned within the CRM system.
  • Design effective onboarding processes that provide new sales reps with clear pipeline management guidelines to manage opportunities efficiently through each stage of the sales cycle.
  • Map pipeline activities to ensure consistent processes for managing and advancing opportunities, leading to improved win rates and faster sales cycle times.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Relevant certifications in sales enablement or sales operations are a plus.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or territory management is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in territory management strategies, with experience in optimizing territory cycles and sales coverage.
    • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce, sales analytics, and content management platforms, like Power BI is helpful.
    • Strong ability to create and maintain sales enablement resources, such as competitive intelligence, case studies, and sales presentations.
    • Ability to analyze sales data to create actionable insights that improve sales effectiveness, territory management, and pipeline performance.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product and other business units to drive alignment and success.
