Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 9 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
- Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience developing data-driven go-to-market strategies in market landscapes.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA degree.
- Experience in the following business areas: business development, structuring and discussing agreements, technology or partnerships strategy development.
- Experience in mCommerce or digital retail, with telco and OEM and in platform dynamics and business generation models (e.g., advertising, subscriptions).
- Experience contributing to Profit and Loss forecasts and business planning.
- Knowledge in advertising, product technology partnerships, and the ability to launch new products and develop new business models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, along with excellent business judgement and the ability to take initiative and navigate ambiguity.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
As the GTM Lead for the new mCommerce business line, you are a leader responsible for the overall strategy and Go-To-Market (GTM) execution on Google Play. You will represent the customer, bridging product strategy, partnership efforts, and user adoption. In this role, you will craft value propositions, develop strategies, influence leaders, and drive the mCommerce business line.
Google Play offers music, movies, books, apps and games for devices, powered by the cloud. It syncs across devices and on the web. As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy an ebook or song on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. Responsibilities
- Execute or manage campaigns, assets, communications, and programs to address user needs, team objectives, and key results (OKRs) and evaluate campaign performance for improvement, recommend channels for reaching and engaging users, and support, contribute to, or lead integrated channels to meet goals.
- Create, review, or approve marketing content to ensure that positioning of the product is aligned with the product strategy, iterate the content and design along with cross-functional or cross-regional teams based on content standards, styles and format, and collaborate with the production team to publish the marketing content.
- Identify research needs, scope, manage, or guide user research by leveraging internal and external research partners.
