Manager of Learning and Development (L&D) and Talent Management plans, develops and implements programs for supervisors as well as general employees. Create and manage the Learning & Development curriculum, deliver trainings and workshops. This position is also responsible for development and integration of corporate and affiliate initiatives associate with human resource programs including DEI, reward and recognition program and engagement programs and coordinate pulse survey.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning & Development (L&D) and Talent Management
Leadership Development:
- Design, facilitate, and lead leadership development programs, workshops, and coaching sessions tailored to various leadership levels, focusing on building critical leadership skills, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and performance management.
- Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, fostering an engaging and interactive learning environment.
- Provide development support to emerging and current leaders to enhance their leadership effectiveness.
Program Design & Delivery:
- Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of L&D programs, including leadership development, skill enhancement, and compliance training
- Ensure a blend of learning modalities, such as digital learning, classroom-based training, blended learning, and leadership workshops
Learning Strategy Development & Execution:
- Co-create and implement the learning strategy for Korea and NAPAC region, ensuring alignment with Global Leadership Development, business goals and the overall talent management strategy
- Drive the creation and execution of learning initiatives aimed at enhancing employee skills, leadership capabilities, and organizational performance
- Continuously improve the L&D function’s offerings based on evolving organizational needs and employee feedback
Stakeholder Engagement & Consulting:
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering L&D expertise and recommending appropriate learning solutions to address business needs
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and NAPAC L&D team to ensure alignment on the learning priorities
- Participate in regional/global projects focused on talent and organizational development areas.
Talent Management & LMS (SuccessFactors) awareness:
- Lead and manage Talent management programs, providing guidance, support, and professional development to ensure affiliate success
- Support to Successor Management process and Talent retain strategy with HR director
- A fair understanding of LMS tool to guide team members and employees
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends in L&D to ensure the L&D programs are innovative and aligned with current trends
- Manage and operate SuccessFactors Learning system administration (Learning Courses management)
Performance Elevation
- Ownership of the local employee performance management process to elevate performance
Training
- Manage Lilly Learning & Development system (SuccessFactors Learning Administration) to ensure employees assigned with appropriate trainings.
- Review evaluations of training courses, objectives and accomplishments
- Make assessments of training effectiveness in terms of employee accomplishments and performance.
- Develop and deliver regular leadership workshop and training session
- Accelerate learning and development with multiple internal platform and resources for all affiliate employees, e.g. LinkedIn Learning, Lilly U, etc.
- Manage Learning SOP matrix and curriculum
Engagement Programs
- Facilitate diversity and inclusion program to develop and operationalize plans that enables your employees and business to progress on goals
- Manage social club activities to foster teamwork and collaboration
- Lead affiliate Pulse, leadership data management and lead action plans for improvement
- Enhance and optimize reward and recognition program with existing resources and procedure
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree and MBA or higher education in human resources is a plus.
- At least 7 year experience in internal training, delivering workshop
- Strong coaching/mentoring/communication skills
- The ability to engage, conduct diagnosis, analyze findings, generate options and build commitment to solutions
- Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally
- Familiar with event design and strong facilitation skills
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm and results-focus
- Strong ownership and committed to high standards and continuous improvement
- Well-skilled in listening, spoken and written English
