We are seeking a Senior L&D Specialist, AI Upskilling on a permanent basis to join our team.
Job Purpose:
Support the enterprise-wide AI upskilling strategy, skill taxonomy, learning pathways, and measurement system to build workforce AI readiness at scale, enabling safe, effective, and value-driven AI adoption across all roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Pathway Design & Delivery
- Design and deliver role-based AI learning pathways using instructional design , adult learning principles and Learning Experience Design:
- From foundational AI literacy to role-specific application
- Embedded practice, reflection, and evidence generation
- Configure and curate learning journeys in the Learning Hub (Degreed).
Enterprise AI Skill Strategy
- Identify and maintain the top enterprise AI skills required across roles (in partnership with skill project teams).
- Lead alignment on a common enterprise AI skills language and taxonomy.
- Ensure skills reflect business value, role relevance, and risk exposure.
Measurement & Skills Intelligence
- Define and operationalize enterprise AI skill measurement, moving beyond course completion:
- Self-assessments and manager validations
- Skill proficiency indices
- Evidence strength and confidence by role
- Produce enterprise AI skills heatmaps for readiness and gap analysis.
- Partner with analytics teams to prioritize learning investment based on gaps and risk.
Governance & Operating Model
- Assign and operate governance for AI skill taxonomy, proficiency definitions, and measurement standards.
- Ensure alignment with AI governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Support safe AI scaling by identifying skill-related risk exposure.
Platform & Launch Management
- Configure AI skills, assessments, and pathways in Degreed.
- Develop and execute enterprise AI upskilling launch roadmap.
- Continuously improve based on adoption and proficiency data.
What we are looking for:
Required
- 10 + years in Enterprise L&D, Workforce Upskilling, or Skills Strategy
- Proven experience building skills-based learning ecosystems
- Deep expertise in instructional design, Learning Experience Design, and skills assessment
- Strong analytics mindset (dashboards, heatmaps, proficiency indices)
- Experience with Learning Experience Platforms (Degreed preferred)
Preferred
- Experience working on enterprise AI or digital transformation initiatives
- Exposure to skills taxonomies, talent intelligence, or workforce planning
- Change management and large-scale launch experience

- Enterprise AI skill proficiency improvement by role
- Reduction in critical AI capability gaps
- Adoption and completion of AI learning journeys
- Increased confidence and evidence of AI application
- Improved enterprise AI readiness heatmaps
