ADP is hiring a Vice PresidentField Enablement, Retirement Services within our Small Business Services organization.

As the VP of Field Enablement for Retirement Services, you will be responsible for enabling the success of the client (including advisors, plan participants and employers) from sales to service. This role is pivotal in optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing service quality, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across all aspects of our field operations. This includes providing strategic sales support, managing tier 2 service support operations, providing investment support decisions, advancing automation and service technology integration including GenAI, driving data science and analytics initiatives, ensuring organizational readiness for growth and change, and overseeing comprehensive associate training and knowledge development programs.

In this role as the Vice President, you will lead over ~140 team members in total including 7 direct reports, providing strong leadership and executive presence to meet the needs within the Retirement Services Field Enablement organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Retirement Services Leadership Team to plan, develop and execute strategic, regulatory, and business initiatives against project/product roadmap.
  • Collaborate effectively with key functional and field organizations; Sales, Business Development, Global Product and Technology, HR, and Finance.
  • Responsible for Sales support to include preparing sales materials; including creating RFP’s, presentations, sales collateral, and other product documentation to support sales efforts. Assist with customer lead inquiries around references by identifying like clients and performing reach outs. Provide technical support or product troubleshooting to facilitate sales transactions.
  • Lead a team of licensed investment professionals, providing expertise to new and existing clients with investment choices, pricing, and execution on contracts and disclosures
  • Responsible for insuring organizational readiness, leading automation and driving operational efficiencies in the business. This includes new hire onboarding, training, knowledge management, change management, communications and career development to drive high levels of associate retention, satisfaction and performance.
  • Responsible for data connections, extractions, reporting, analysis and data science to provide insights, decisions and automations throughout the business from strategy through day-to-day operations. Identify trends, opportunities and areas of improvement to drive informed decision-making and strategy development.
  • Develop leaders within the organization by providing developmental assignments, coaching, timely feedback and guidance. Drives the ADP Employment Value Proposition throughout organization and develops a highly engaged workforce.
  • Serves as a key member of the Retirement Service Senior Leadership Team and partners with other ADP leadership teams as needed -- sharing best practices and providing support. Assumes other special projects/assignments as directed by the RS Senior Vice President.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

  • This position sits in our Florham Park, NJ location. We support a hybrid working arrangement; minimum 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
  • Minimum 15+ years domain expertise in key human capital arena, human capital software, consulting or human capital required, including business operations. Minimum 7-10 years leadership experience managing a team of exempt-level/Sr. Level professionals.
  • Demonstrated experience working in or supporting a regulated or financial services related business, such as Retirement Services.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills with ability to effectively direct/lead the business unit's overall service operations in order to maximize revenues and profits.
  • Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, leadership and organization skills.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to assess current situation and future trends and bridge the gap.
  • In addition to general business communications, must be able to deliver effective business updates/presentations, communicate with external clients, and motivate associates at all levels of the organization
  • Resourceful and driven.
  • Influencing without authority to include being able to excel at building relationships and collaborating effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with both internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Be a true consultant within the business and with very strong problem solution skills.

A college degree is preferred but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:

  • Experience noted above, OR
  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

BONUS POINTS FOR THESE: Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other Advanced Degree in Business preferred.
  • Knowledge of HCM industry (Human Capital Management) preferred but not required.
  • Proven track record in achieving business results.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll operations, small business consulting, and/or solution center operations are strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to develop and test business hypotheses in order to continuously improve the business. Must also be able to make fact-based decisions using available data.
  • Must not only develop talent of direct reports but also ensure that similar actions are taken downstream in the organization.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. *Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
