The opportunity
The Japan Digital GTM & Sales team at Adobe ensures customers achieve success relative to their intent and derive meaningful membership value, while delivering Adobe shareholder value as measured in ARR growth, MAU growth, and critical metric performance improvements. The team drives growth through key business levers such as optimized user journeys, promotional strategy, free customer product experiences, add-on/up-sell and customer retention. Japan is Adobe’s largest market outside of North America and has many unique aspects that make it a priority for Adobe’s overall strategy.
In this high-visibility role, you will be a strategic and results-focused leader. You are passionate about building Japan’s Digital GTM & Sales growth. This growth is measured by clear near-term financial targets and aspirational growth rates.
You will have strong perspective on customer data and business trends that translates into impactful recommendations. This role is highly cross functional and will collaborate across several organizations to ensure goal alignment and strong execution of actions that contribute to driving ARR and customer success. To be successful, you will maintain strong working relationships with the teams in Adobe’s global headquarters, and interface regularly with product, user research, engineering and marketing teams.
A deep knowledge of digital marketing, web and mobile web product, and how engagement optimization leads to monetization across customer segments will be key as you partner across several teams to improve the experience across emerging customer journeys and drive acquisition growth.

You’re motivated by evaluating new opportunities, navigating competitive landscapes, and partnering across functions to bring ambitious plans to life.
You excel at influencing others, developing high‑performing teams, and leading organizations through change. You are equally comfortable engaging external partners and internal executives, and you bring a thoughtful, analytical lens to identifying customer needs and crafting market‑relevant solutions. Above all, you lead with clarity, purpose, and a dedication to elevating both people and business performance. What you'll have
Experience owning a P&L and achieving Digital sales targets through direct execution and influence
Proven experience evaluating and driving strategic business opportunities in consumer, creative, and productivity related environments.
Demonstrated success managing matrixed teams across product management, product marketing, and sales in a consumer environment.
Obsession with end users and making sure they realize value in our products.
Experience fine-tuning consumer GTM motions in the evolving world of LLMO/GEO, and shifting commerce experiences around the user journey to assure product users achieve value realization.
Deep understanding of the iOS and Android mobile app store environment and especially how social channels influence app store behavior.
Deep expertise in market analysis, competitive intelligence, and identifying customer and partner needs to inform strategy.
Strong leadership capabilities with experience developing, mentor, and assessing cross‑functional teams to ensure operational excellence.
Ability to define and communicate clear vision, strategies, and execution plans that drive measurable business results.
Excellent decision‑making, analytical, and communication skills, with a track record of influencing partners at all levels.
Fluency in English and business-level proficiency in Japanese are required.
